From Strokies to High-performance squads

PEA

This is the group which provides the foundation for all our other squads. Swimmers must be able to swim 25m independently and must be able to swim a basic freestyle and backstroke. Our Strokies begin the journey of growing as a swimmer and developing the basic techniques. We take your child’s development seriously and our aim is to develop safe, confident and disciplined swimmers. Swimming is a life skill that will benefit your child time and time again throughout their lives

Our Stingray squad begins to focus on stroke development and training techniques. The swimmers begin to learn the art of streamlining from the wall and start mastering the art of a tumble turn. Stroke development is extremely important for young swimmers and this sound basis will ensure that the swimmers will be able to compete at C League galas for their schools. Our Stingrays train three times a week for 45 minutes per session. Equipment needed: swimming cap, goggles, long flippers & board
